What We’re Known For
Proudly Canadian and founded in Alberta, Creative Cove was shaped by Yukon and Northern BC roots and small-community values with a belief that creativity should feel welcoming, accessible, and meaningful for everyone.
Everything we offer is thoughtfully designed to be approachable, relaxing, and easy to step into, whether you’re visiting on a whim or planning something special.
Paint Your Own Pottery
Our signature experience and the heart of Creative Cove.
Drop in and choose from a wide selection of pottery pieces including mugs, bowls, plates, planters, trinkets, and seasonal designs.
Our pricing is simple and transparent, with pieces starting at $15 and no additional studio, kiln, or glaze fees.
Create at your own pace, enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, and come back as many times as you need your piece is fully yours from start to finish.
Feel free to drop in during open studio hours if you're feeling spontaneous.
If you're more of a planner, we recommend booking a table ahead of time so we can have everything ready for you when you arrive.

We have some great overflow parking options available just up the road from the studio (see photo for details!). We kindly ask that you avoid parking directly across the street, as our lovely senior neighbors have had some difficulty getting out of their driveway. At our Courtenay location, paint your own pottery is available every day alongside a thoughtfully curated selection of seasonal workshops.
Our studio offers a rotating lineup of guided creative experiences designed to reflect the energy of the Comox Valley community.
These may include clay handbuilding, themed events such as Princess Week or Lord of the Rings, and other specialty workshops that evolve throughout the year.
Each offering is intentionally designed to provide a welcoming, hands-on experience while staying true to the Creative Cove approach accessible, engaging, and rooted in creativity for all skill levels.
