Paint Your Own Pottery at Creative Cove
Creative Cove offers paint your own pottery at our studios in Morinville, Alberta and Courtenay in the Comox Valley, British Columbia. Our ceramic painting studios are welcoming, family friendly spaces designed for all ages and skill levels. Whether you are visiting for a casual drop in, a creative date night, or a meaningful handmade gift, paint your own pottery is an easy and relaxing way to create something special.
No experience is required. Simply drop in, choose a piece, and start painting.
How Paint Your Own Pottery Works:
Choose a pre fired ceramic piece from our rotating selection of mugs, bowls, plates, figurines, planters, and seasonal ceramics. Paint your piece using our glazes and tools at your own pace. Once finished, we glaze and kiln fire your pottery so it is food safe and ready for everyday use.
Finished pieces are typically ready for pickup in about one week (sometimes a little past pending on firing schedule).
Simple, Inclusive Pricing:
Ceramic pieces start at $15 and are individually priced based on size and style. Your pottery price includes studio time, paint, glaze, and kiln firing. There are no additional sit fees, glaze fees, or firing fees.
Once you choose your piece, everything you need is included.
Paint At Your Own Pace:
If you do not finish your pottery in one visit, you are welcome to take it home and return anytime to continue painting. Many guests enjoy spreading their project across multiple visits.

Paint your own pottery at Creative Cove is perfect for families, kids, adults, seniors, date nights, birthdays, group gatherings, and handmade gifts. Our studios are designed to be inclusive, relaxed, and beginner friendly.
Drop In Or Book Ahead:
Drop in during regular studio hours at either location. If you are planning ahead or visiting with a group, table bookings are available so we can have space ready for you. For groups larger than six, please contact the studio directly.
